BILZEN, BELGIUM - On Saturday, March 29, 2025, at approximately 2 p.m., a confrontation occurred between two drivers in Bilzen, near a McDonald’s restaurant, involving reckless driving and the display of a firearm.

The incident was reported by the victim to the local police shortly after its conclusion.

According to the report, the driver of a German-plated vehicle initiated contact by requesting the other driver to engage in a race.

The victim declined, which reportedly provoked the aggressor, leading to aggressive and reckless driving behavior.

As the vehicles approached a roundabout, the German driver maneuvered dangerously, cutting off the other vehicle and forcing the driver to brake abruptly.

Witnesses noted that the German driver continued to drive erratically, executing sudden movements that posed risks not only to the victim but also to other motorists in the vicinity.

During the course of this confrontation, the German driver allegedly displayed a firearm by rolling down the window and pointing the gun into the air, although no shots were fired.

Concerned for his safety, the victim chose to return home, ensuring that the German driver was no longer following him.

Once at a safe location, he reported the series of events to the Bilzen police authorities.
