Tributes Paid to Jean-Pierre Stadsbader, Influential Belgian Entrepreneur

Jean-Pierre Stadsbader, known for his significant contributions to the construction and logistics sectors, has passed away at the age of 73.
Jean-Pierre Stadsbader, a prominent Belgian entrepreneur and the brother of the late industrial leader Désiré Stadsbader, died at the age of 73 at AZ Groeninge Hospital in Kortrijk.

He was a well-respected figure in the business community, known for his extensive involvement in various enterprises across French-speaking Belgium and northern France.

Stadsbader is survived by two children, two in-laws, and three grandchildren.

Over his career, Stadsbader founded several companies including Tramo (logistics and transport), construction firm TRBA, transport company Tramotrans, Infravest, and LEDC.

The TRBA family announced his passing on their official website.

Established shortly after World War II, TRBA has evolved into one of the leading construction firms in Wallonia, specializing in earthworks, drainage, and roadworks.

In 2021, TRBA received the designation of _Super Gazelle_ from a French-language business magazine, reflecting its robust growth and market presence.

The company stated, "As a visionary and passionate entrepreneur, Jean-Pierre dedicated his life to building a solid and respected business that is now a key player in the construction sector in Wallonia and northern France.

His commitment, high standards, and determination have shaped TRBA and continue to inspire its workforce."

The funeral for Jean-Pierre Stadsbader will take place on March 22 at the Sint-Salvatorkerk in Harelbeke.

In other news, 27 businesses in Brussels have recently declared bankruptcy, as announced by the Brussels Commercial Court.

This wave of insolvency notifications serves to allow creditors the opportunity to file their claims.

Businesses that have filed for bankruptcy include transport company Wittegoms BVBA, food retailer Eurobel Food BVBA, and construction firm NEMO Tehnics BV, among others.

Officials continue to monitor the economic climate as this series of bankruptcies could impact local employment and the commercial landscape.

Additionally, a promising young designer from Mechelen, Emiel Van Osselaer, at the age of 23, has entered the fashion industry with his brand Milio Millions.

After launching unique apparel pieces, he is now developing a summer collection that aims to establish the brand as a leading name in Belgium's high-end streetwear segment.

His works include exclusive individual pieces and a broader range with personalized options aimed at festival-goers.

Van Osselaer attributes his passion for fashion to early influences from skate culture, which sparked his interest in clothing design and manufacturing.

He is actively promoting his brand through social media platforms and local engagements, seeking to maximize visibility in a competitive industry.
